Interference – Handmade Steel Abstract Sculpture
Interferenza (Interference) stems from the idea that identity is not a single, immutable entity, but a set of presences that coexist within us. Desires, fears, memories, impulses, and aspirations manifest simultaneously, influencing each other in a continuous and often invisible dialogue.
The figures that make up the artwork do not represent distinct individuals, but different expressions of the same consciousness. They emerge from a common structure, overlap, intersect, and merge, like thoughts surfacing from the unconscious without following a precise order. None dominate over the others: all participate in the construction of a fragile and changeable balance.
The intertwining of the metal filaments recalls the complexity of the human mind, where chaos is not an absence of order, but a deeper form of organization, difficult to perceive at first glance. Every tension, every contradiction, and every fragment contributes to maintaining the whole in balance.
Interferenza is a symbolic photograph of the unconscious: a living system, in constant transformation, where multiple versions of ourselves coexist and, through their continuous intertwining, give shape to what we are.
