Iris

In Greek mythology, Iris is the messenger between the earthly and divine worlds, a presence that crosses distances and makes passage from one dimension to another possible.

In this sculpture, the body appears suspended in a fragile and luminous balance. The material is reduced to its essence: metallic filaments, voids, and fragments delineate a figure that seems to dissolve as it reaches upwards. The gesture of the open hand suggests a search, a call, an attempt to touch something beyond what is visible.

Iris speaks of the tension towards what transcends form. It is the image of a being in transformation, suspended between presence and absence, between what has been and what is about to become.
