The Land Behind Us emerges from a reflection on memory, belonging, and distance. The figures resemble photographs caught in the wind: presences captured in a fragile moment, distorted by movement, suspended between what they are leaving behind and what they continue to carry with them.
Iron gradually loses its solidity, opening, fragmenting, and extending into space, allowing emptiness itself to become part of the figure. Each work thus becomes a trace of passage—an incomplete yet still living image, where journey, loss, and transformation intertwine to evoke the memory of a land, an origin, or a time that has grown distant.
