Tūti emerges from the encounter between a recognizable animal form and a material that carries traces, wear, and memory. Metal fragments, overlapping elements, and visible welds build an irregular, vibrant plumage, transforming the weight of iron into an almost organic presence. The name, of Persian origin, means “parrot” and recalls a long tradition in which this animal is associated with voice, storytelling, and the transmission of memory. The work thus moves between nature and artifice, matter and narrative, physical presence and imagination.
