Primal – Handmade Steel Orangutan Sculpture

Primal is a metal sculpture that evokes the original force of living beings. The figure of the orangutan emerges as an ancient presence, suspended between instinct, memory, and silent awareness. The fragmented matter, openings, and irregular surfaces transform the body into a living, almost archaeological structure, as if the work preserved a remote trace of evolution.

Through iron, Primal does not simply represent an animal, but a primordial form of existence: a gaze toward what comes before language, culture, and the separation between humankind and nature. It is a presence both powerful and fragile, a fragment of origin that continues to speak through matter.
